ugh. thats exactly what that movie was. ugh. forgetting sarah marshall is a completely horrid movie. i was sitting up front, center seat and ended up climbing over eight pairs of feet, popcorn buckets, sodas, and numerous bags before finally reaching the aisle and leaving the theater. and i was only watching the movie for probably 10-15 minutes. completely horrid. basically the opening scenes are nudity. and i was not expecting male nudity at that. my gosh people! i did NOT need to see that until my wedding day!!!! and they showed it multiple times. it was DISGUSTING!! when i finally walked out, it had reached a sex scene, and i was like thats it, im leaving. i said goodbye to my friends who were sitting on either side of me and just left. i do NOT recommend that movie to anyone. not at all.
i came back here thinking that the guys would be watching the b-ball game on the widescreen downstairs, only to find no one here. so i aimed DT and learned that they were all studying in the library. oh well. i told him i had left early, and he asked why, so i explained, and he then said he was proud of me. i never thought of it that way. all i knew was that i did not want to listen and watch the crap that was being projected onto that screen. but i guess i’m proud of myself. this may seem odd, but i’d rather keep as much of my innocence intact until my wedding day. i don’t need to know about any of that stuff until then. i will be a virgin until then and i’m proud of that fact. and besides, if im not planning on having sex before marriage, then i definetely don’t need to be watching it on screen, wouldn’t you agree? ugh. it was so gross. so incredibly gross. why does our society have to dwell so much on sex and intertwine it in all that we see? i just don’t get it.
anyways….i’ve been studying. got stuck on this homework problem, and my head is giving me yet another killer headache. i took an advil like an hour ago, but it still has yet to kick in. silly medicine. i think im just going to crash early. besides, i have an early class in the morning.
oh, norma jean = excellent. i’ve had their stuff on my ipod for a long while now, and for some reason I just never listened to them. i put them on today, and i think Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste has to be the best song I heard today. im totally loving the lyrics along with the music itself. i played that song so many times this afternoon. i might even listen to it one more time before sleep. haha
nite yo…
